ASUU Strike Update: Federal Government Refuses To Pay N284b Allowances

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT REFUSES TO PAY N284B ALLOWANCES The Federal Government of Nigeria has said that it could not afford to pay the N284 billion earned allowances being demanded by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). Earned allowances are the compensation the lecturers are entitled to receive in other to enhance academic productivity and increase research output.
